Day 1 Week 2

Whoop yesterday was Day 7 Sunday Rest Day, I forced myself to rest yesterday and jumping on "fat bastard" (scales) revealed a rather pleasing number YAY GO GALFRAND!

Anyhoe Day 1 Week 2, day off from work and I am tottttally by the book, I listened to Mishs video about cravings and then I set off making a Super G task list on my iphone reminders app, and so far I am ticking them off with great satisfaction HOLLA!

Super G Positives: luvin the protein snacks! yummm eggs, Im feeling pleased with myself for sticking to the plan!

Super G Negatives: Because of my torn calf muscle I have been doing low impact, so it has been a god send having Mish's videos which I have done every day. Last week for Mishs Monday workout I burned 488 calories today it was 260!??? hmmmmm??!!! ......ooohhhh well Ill just have to make it up later

Inspiration Day 7 week1

Day 7!!!! How you doin? Well I survived the night out at the 40th Birthday I had a glass of low cal Jewell Pink Sparkly and choose Heatlhy finger food, as a consequence the Super G weighing machine is still on fire this morning! boo yeh!
This is probably the first time all us girls were the "safe" drivers home as well, so for once in their lives, the hubbies were able to chill out and start adding to their can and bottle collection, win/win.
Today Sunday is rest day, but I struggle now to have a rest day even though I know I should to prevent injuries, repair the body, and also to regather and prepare for the oncoming week, its a big mind lesson not to go out hard initially but to be just consistent. I feel like I have Super G force energy but I am learning, that the brain is a tricky thing, and to listen closer to my body.
Sometimes my brain says: you are hungry!, but the body is saying" ohhhh roilly??, well just water would be ok!" such a trickster the mind! It can make you powerful one minute and week as a kitten crying the next.

Anyhoe!!! heres my Inspiration Board for this round, I roillllllllly roillllllllly need scales but I thought the deadline was for next Sunday arghhhhhhh!! (insert, scream like a spoilt brat). so here it is.....daa da da daaaaaaaaaaaa!

Day 5 and Day 6 Bringing it!

Day 5 and Day 6
TGIF! I got home from work, yes I know, I work, but remember it pays for those new pairs of hot runners I buy every now and again. I needed a Supernana nap for 10 minutes as I was meeting a fellow partner in crime for a Supergalfrand rendezvous at Go-girl City secret training head quarters  I managed to clock up 1228 calories in 1 hr 20 mins by cycling my sore A$$ off, woop!! Super G Positive- JFDI even though I was exausted, meeting a friend to exercise with definitely gets you out the door
Super G Negative- Hubby and Kiddy wink went out for dinner without me, and I was yearning for what they were doing and eating lol, buttttttt I didn't  I stayed focused, thanks to my Super Girlfriends from the Peninsula Vic Crew!!

Day 6 Saturday
I got up out of bed to meet the crew for a beach workout. I cant run or walk because I tore a calf muscle 4 months ago playing netball ( stoopid me thinking I am a teenager again) however Mish has taught me to have no excuses, so where there is a will, there is a way. 878 calories later I completed the Olivers Hill climb, and the fitness test yay!

Super G positive- I planked on my toes for 2 mins
Super G Neg- Its a girlfriends 40th bday tonight and I am dreading my self control....so far within my budget, salad leftovers for lunch, and keeping on target with eating.....My Mantra tonight- No cake or wine will make me feel as good as the hot Super G outfit I wear at 12wbt finale....brinnnnnnng it!

day 3 and day 4 Popping!

I got invited to play tennis today by a girl in the crew, I havent played since I was 10 years old, lets just say I was no Serena Williams lol, but what a lovely social morning!

This round is nutrition, nutrition nutrition and not over exercising. Exactly what Mish and her superfly team tell me to do!!!!!!!!! SuperG has taken off!

Day 1 Round 1

Day 1 , wow I made it! This Super G stuck like glue to the letter T! Meals and Monday workout, nailed it! Bring on Weds weigh in! Im ready to Smash Day 2!  My plan for tomorrow is to bike to work, Im a batmobile driver normally, so biking to work for me requires a lot of JFDI thoughts. The positives of biking, I dont have to worry about finding a carspace for the Batmobile, Ill burn loads of calories instead of burning $$ and petrol that funds all those Villianous Companies. I wont have to do Mish on Impossible Workout, watching those green outfits remind me of the Green Lantern....smokin!! Have I talked myself into biking yet.hmmmmm??? Tuesday shall reveal all I guess

The Wanna-Be Kid

In my eyes, my hair was too frizzy, my body was too fat, I didnt have nice skin, my clothes were awkward and even though I was liked by all the popular kids because I had learnt to be a people pleaser, I was terribly shy, there was no way I was in the league of the things I wanted to be.
I felt like I was able to be these things inside, and I even possessed the skills to get close to achieving some of these things, but mostly I was just a Wanna-be, and to a big extent I still am a Wanna-be.
The important realisation for me however is that I recognise now 20 years later from child, teen, and young adult years, that it takes a lot of attributes to STOP being a wanna-be.
I wasted a lot of years chasing wanna-be dreams because I was doing it to please other people, now I need to learn how to please myself without feeling selfish.

I wanna-be a super woman "yes"
To do that, all the Wanna-be things I wanted in my earlier years, they stll need to be achieved, just in different situations now.
I still wanna-be a popular, good looking healthy and a happy successful woman, who is the best wife, mother, daughter, and friend BUT it takes big steps and little steps to get past the outside obstacles and the inner storms.

How many of you feel the same way?
I challenge you to be the person you really wanna-be, my hope however is that you/I/we dont go about it trying to be perfect, but we try hard and keep going, we use our abilities to achieve great things, we fly through great storms, coming out the other side successful, and although cliche sounding, we fight the bad to be the best.

I wonder if I will need a cape?

Super G 12wbt Preseason Adventures

Well hello Super Gal Followers! What did I find on my adventures this week? What was my lesson learnt this week? Who affected me the most this week?
This week was a very ordinary week with some extra ordinary moments. I didnt need my cape to fight off chocolate bars, road rage, scary kids and animals ( mine) or other peoples. I stayed sane and didnt need to turn into a green Incredible hulkess because of work or husband related moments. I even got through TTOM without hauling a plate through to the next suburb. So you ask WHAT MADE ME the Incredible Girl this week, instead of the Incredible Hulkess?

For one I managed to complete my 12wbt tasks properly and instead of just putting "to lose weight" I might have added 5 more paragraphs of goals this time, and NO one goal was not to marry Superman, but marrying the Commando did enter my thoughts?

It was also a week of firsts.
It was the strangest feeling after my first Body Combat class, I no longer wanted to be Super Biatch, butttttttttt Mortal Combat girl!
I also tried the Body Attack Class, let me just say I am glad I didnt wear my cape, because doing the running man to the song Party Rock made me feel like I could fly anyway, both were exilerating new experiences that made me hungry for more, just like chocolate really, or olives, but not Kryptonite!
Next on my list was getting paid, not a first, but hey it allowed me to go buy stuff, like gym stuff and healthy stuff, I like wearing my new ISuper B stuff, it makes me run longer and faster at my secret hidden training grounds hidden in the bushes of not Gothim City but Gogirl City. 1 minute and 1km of non stop running will turn into 12km of non stop running in 12 weeks which will help me! Super Size 16 girl turn into a Super Size 10 girl, even if its just new size 10 Super hero undies I will be excited!

So I was influenced by many people this week, villians, little old ladies, kids  on holidays wearing princess costumes (pfffft) one day they will wear MY costumes! The person who comes to mind the most however, is a lady I just met who has lost weight 25kg on a weight loss progam and got to goal weight. Firstly I met her at a gym and yes I imagined her in pink tights with the black letter I because she looked how an Incredible girl should look, we spoke and quickly became friends. This girl had reached goal weight of 63kg from over 88kg and felt really sad. She said she was down a lot lately because of pressures, weight gain, illness, family issues, and her past creeping in to haunt her. Why did she affect me so much? Strange but I had gone from feeling totally awe inspired, and wanting to outfit this girl in my costume, to a bit deflated, and feeling unsure about my superhero future. I mean you put all this hard work to reach a goal and still remain miserable?  WTF? This meeting was not negative though, it was more a "hmmmmm " moment. I reflected over the next few days and made note, that this adventure is not just to improve my super body, but also to learn and remember my mind will play a big success in fighting super villians, bad thoughts, and chocolate in the future. I will also exercise my mind, so thanks for that new friend I met at the gym, you in my mind are a wayward hero who just needs to find her way again.

My Super lesson. Its easy for me to create the Incredible Hulkess I dont want to be, and a lot of hardwork to be the Incredible girl I am.
